COVID 19 update : Bowater Hyundai

At Bowater Hyundai we are committed to putting the health and wellbeing of our customers, and our staff first. Now that New Zealand has moved to Alert Level 3 on 28th April, we can confirm that we are able to safely fulfil your vehicle requirements at Alert Level 3.  

While our dealerships will not be open for customers to visit,we will be offering contactless servicing and test drive options, with the ability to pick-up and drop-off at your convenience. 

While at Alert Level 3, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff and community remains our highest priority. We are following the Ministry of Health’s guidelines and have implemented stringent measures to ensure everyone stays safe. 

We understand that COVID-19 is causing significant disruption to people and businesses. We want to work closely with our customers to manage any financial impacts by getting a plan in place as soon as possible.

Warranty & Service Extensions.

Hyundai NZ will be extending new vehicle warranties and service intervals to eligible customers affected by the lockdown. As an NZ owned company, this is part of their commitment to providing a first class ownership experience. 

Hyundai NZ will be extending the Hyundai New Vehicle Warranty* for vehicles with factory warranties that expire between March and May 2020. All eligible Hyundai vehicles will benefit from a warranty extension until 30th June 2020. Confirm your details at this link and your warranty will automatically be extended if you meet eligibility requirements. If you notice a defect on your vehicle after lockdown has been lifted, please visit your nearest dealership as soon as possible or call us on 0800 HYUNDAI (498 632) rather than waiting until the end of June.
