A&P Show Competition Winners Announced
The A&P Show last weekend was a great success for the team at Bowater Toyota.
Ontop of winning two awards for our stand, including the prestigous Ewing Trophy for Overall Best Trade Exhibit, we had lots of visitors coming to our marquee to enter in the draw for the iPad3 and the great Toyota 86 gear.
This afternoon we drew the lucky winners from the rather large pile of entries we received in our competition box.
Without any further ado here we go.......
1st Prize: iPad3 : Chris Foster
2nd Prize: Oakley Toyota 86 Sunglasses: Mike Tunney
3rd Prize: Toyota 86 Hoodie: Renee Carver
We will be in contact with all of the winners over the coming days to organise getting your great prizes to you.
For everyone else that entered, many thanks, and by all means head on over to the BMG Family section of our website (click here) and join up so you can go in the draw for prizes every month, as well as getting a $20 WOF Inspection voucher until the end of the year, when we will add another 2013 BMG Family deal.
Who will win the iPad3?
Over the course of the A&P show held at the Richmond Showgrounds last weekend we held a competition to win an iPad3 and some great Toyota 86 prizes.
We had a great turnout at our prize winning stand (we won the trophy for the Best Overall Trade Exhibit for the first time, and also we won the best Large Trade Exhibit). Many people came by and put in an entry form for the iPad competition, so it is going to be hotly contested!
Is your name in the pile?
Tom our yard groomer builds his own Toyota 86
Tom, our yard groomer at Bowater Toyota in Nelson, is a bit of a modeller. And by that we mean he loves building kitset models.
It is quite a skill, and requires a healthy dose of patience, and some very steady hands.
With all of the excitement globally around the rev-olutionary Toyota 86, it was only a matter of time before this filtered into the world of model kitsets.
Tom has been making models for years, and is very proud of both his collection and the fact that he made them all with his very own hands. Now it is time to tackle the 86 he has cleaned many many times since the arrival of our demo car at the showroom a few months ago.
Tom has been waiting for this kitset to arrive since then, and can't wait to rip into it.
Bowater Honda heads out to the Stoke Bowling Club
The Stoke Bowling Club is a very high profile local bowling club with a very large space, nicely tucked away in Stoke. It is the hub for the local bowling community, with most large events in the region being held there as it has 2 separate lawn greens, and a large facilities complex.
Bowater Honda has been a keen supporter of the Stoke Bowling Club, with ongoing support for tournaments, players and the club itself over the years.
We went along to the BMG sponsored Bowater Honda Classic Fours Tournament at the club on the weekend of 24-25th November 2012, and caught up with club president Allen Johnson to talk about the tournament and what Bowls means to Stoke.
Established in 1949, the Stoke Bowling Club has seen many changes, especially in the club surrounds themselves as Stoke has grown and the land use change to the urbanised landscape we see today. The Stoke Bowling Club have a big year planned next year, with upgrades to facilities on the cards.
